Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has deemed The
Carlton Tower, which is situated off old Airport Road, is unfit for occupation as it is
riddled with encroachments and illegal structures in its common area, unless
Carlton Towers Owners' Association (CTOA) obtains a 'no objection certificate'
from BBMP, Bescom and the fire and emergency services departments.
In an order issued to CTOA on April 24 the BBMP's Joint Director Town Planning observed the ground floor area has encroachments violating the sanctioned plan issued in September 1999.
