Civic Sense and Shortage of water drives Rainbow Drive Layout to replenish
groundwater
Rainbow Drive Layout
located near Sarjapur Main Road has taken its green initiative to apply to the
Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) to recharge the groundwater
table.
The residential society
carved out of 35 acres with 375 dwelling
units already has a sewage treatment plant installed in their colony. All the
waste water, after being treated, was being used in the flush tanks, as well as
to water plants and around 500 trees in the garden and the surrounding area.
