The Karnataka High Court has
directed Puravankara Projects Ltd. not to aerially encroach upon land belonging
to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) laboratories while
putting up its 16-storeyed apartment complex.
DRDO had made an application
alleging that Puravankara is using huge cranes, which are aerially encroaching
upon its Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CIAR) campus at C.V.
Raman Nagar.
The DRDO alleged that this
residential complex is projecting `DANGER` to the defense research lab and the building
plan is sanctioned throwing all the security concerns to the wind by the
BBMP. It is also felt that the state
government must step in and stop this `DANGEROUS BUILDING`, to come up.
